Great Escape adds HMC Healey, Triumph Stag and Jaguar XJ6 coupe to fleet
Great Escape Classic Car Hire has added three classic British sports cars to its fleet of self drive rental vehicles. The new cars, which include a HMC Healey 3.9 V8, Triumph Stag and Jaguar XJ6 coupe, are available immediately for self drive rental in the Cotswolds from the company's base in the pretty Worcestershire village of Inkberrow.
The HMC Healey is a very high quality recreation of the classic Austin Healey of the 1950s and 1960s and was developed in conjunction with the Healey family. It features 3.9 litre Rover V8 power and a very high quality leather and walnut interior with a manual gearbox. It is finished in classic light metallic blue over cream.
The Great Escape Triumph Stag is a rare manual finished in white with black interior and is ideal for weddings and weekends. It features a rebuilt 3 litre Triumph V8 engine and the option of hard or soft tops.
The Jaguar XJ6C is the first car of its kind available to hire in the UK. The Great Escape car is the rare Daimler version of this elegant, spacious pillarless coupe, which has ample seating for four. The car features the 4.2 litre straight six engine and automatic gearbox. It is finished ini Regency Red with Cinnamon leather interior.
