When you enter the estate, continue straight ahead and you will find us about 100m along on the right. PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN OUR YARD - we are constantly moving cars and trailers and you risk damage to your car.
You will find ample parking in front of and to the side of our unit. We are on a quiet, safe industrial estate but parking is at your own risk.
When you arrive for your road trip each driver MUST bring the following or you will not be able to drive. Unfortunately there are no exceptions:
- Driving licence - card or paper version depending on what you hold
- Completed Driver Declaration Form (download here)
- Credit card for insurance deposit (no funds are taken)
- DVLA licence print out (access it here)
collection & return times
Our standard collection and return times mid week are 5pm. For weekend hire you can arrange your times from 9am Friday to 10am Monday.
Please check the collection and return dates and times on your confirmation paperwork. If you do not arrive on time we cannot guarantee the car will be available for you. Likewise, if you return early or late our premises may not be manned.
If you are running late, please call us as soon as you are aware and we will always do our best to accommodate you. If we do not hear from you we will call you 15 minutes after the agreed collection time. If you are more than 30 minutes late without prior agreement we reserve the right to cancel the hire.
We aim to be as flexible as possible. So if you need an alternative collection and return time, please let us know on 01527 893733 or firstname.lastname@example.org. We'll do what we can to assist. Collection and return is not available on Saturday or Sunday except by prior agreement.
Our premises are generally open between 9am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday. Collection and return of your car is by appointment - if you are not on time there may not be anyone to meet you.
clothing & shoes
Please dress appropriately for a day in classic cars. Old cars generally have poor weather protection and poor heaters. In particular wear suitable footwear - most classic cars have narrow pedal boxes unsuitable for heavy shoes.
changing your date
Once you have booked the time and date for your experience our Terms & Conditions apply. If you need to change the date or time we may apply a £20 administration charge per experience. Dates and times cannot be changed within 14 days of the experience.
how it works
Your car will be valeted and safety checked before collection. This includes cleaning the bodywork and interior and an 18 point feature check including tyre pressures, fluids and so on. Each car is also ramp checked each week and road tested.
When you arrive we will run through your paperwork and check the condition of the car with you. We will also explain the controls. We do not automatically provide a test drive but you are welcome to ask for this. Please ensure you listen to the advice we provide, particularly regarding starting the car. Please note that it is your responsibility to ensure you are happy to drive the car and competent with the controls before you set off.
We will provide you with emergency contact information during your hire. You MUST report any faults to us immediately, however small.

We maintain all of our cars in our own workshop and typically undertake full restorations on them every 2-3 years. Bit your car will typically be 40 or more years old and it is a high mileage hire car. Please be realistic about your expectations.
