We work with event organisers and directly with clients to provide corporate entertainment, team building events and TV or film projects with classic cars. With a fleet of 50 classic cars from the 1950s to 1990s based at several locations across the UK, Great Escape offers unrivalled choice and experience in this area.
On this page you'll find case studies of some of the recent corporate events that we've been involved in as well as events that we have organised for our own customers. We work directly with corporate clients and with specialist event organisers.

Toyota Germany
We staged perhaps the largest single classic car hire events of 2011 for a large group of Toyota salesmen from Germany. Working with specialist agencies in London and Germany we developed a route and schedule that enabled all 100 attendees to travel in the cars throughout the day. Great Escape has the largest fleet of classic cars to hire in the UK so providing 20 cars for the day with back up cars and people was no problem. The client said:

International Hotels Group
We now provide an annual event for customers of this exclusive hotel group based around the Goodwood Revival in Sussex.
2010 Goodwood Revival
Working to a very tight deadline we provide a group of cars for a team building event organised by IHG's corporate events agency around the Goodwood Revival. Great Escape provided a diverse range of cars, delivered them to site, briefed the teams and collected the cars at the end of the day. Our approach minimised the workload for the agency and provided a seamless and professional vehicle handover experience for the client. The client and agency were both very pleased with the service they received and all cars performed faultlessly.
2011 Goodwood Revival
Following a successful event for IHG in 2010 we were invited back to organise a larger group of cars for customers to attend the 2011 Goodwood Revival. Working with our dedicated logistics partner, we delivered 5 cars to the hotel near Goodwood and collected them at the end of the event.
Eversheds
We developed a complete corporate event experience for a team of 12 staff and clients from leading law firm Eversheds. Using our Suffolk fleet and a beautiful coast and countryside route, we provided six varied cars, accommodation and meals for the September event. The seniority of the attendees and their tight schedules meant complex pre-planning and careful timekeeping throughout the day. Great Escape provided the cars plus two reserve vehicles and an onsite mechanic. During the day the timekeeping was perfect, enabling all attendees to catch their trains, and all vehicles performed without incident. The client praised our planning and preparation and high standards of presentation and said he would not hesitate to recommend us.
Dutch Banking Group
We provided 5 cars for a very exclusive trip to the Goowood Revival in 2011 by a group of 10 senior Dutch bankers. The cars were delivered ready for them to drive early on Monday morning back to Gatwick for their return flights.
The complex logistics for this event involved our transport partner and extensive pre-planning for vehicle collection points and to suite with our other events around Goodwood.
Barclays Wealth
From our base in Worcestershire we provided a large number of cars for a group of 22 from Barclays Wealth. Working to a tight budget we provided a full day's corporate team building event with lunch at a luxury hotel in the Cotswolds. The client said "Thank you for as vey successful event. The feedback was great and I was particularly impressed by your attention to detail."
Clivedon, Berkshire
We have supported several events at this exclusive Von Essen hotel just off the M40. The events, organised by a leading events management company, involve classic car treasure hunts for several guests starting at the beautiful Clivedon hotel. Great Escape provides the cars, which are generally transported using large double decker specialist car transporters. Our large unit in Worcestershire has ample space to enable large articulated transports to load our cars easily. Every event we have supported at Clivedon has been enthusiastically received by the clients and our direct client, the events management company, has been very pleased with the care and effort we have put into the day.
Cotswolds Classic Car Rally
10 teams and 20 customers headed out on a bright and sunny day in March 2011 for our kick-off event of the year - the Great Escape Cotswolds Classic Car Rally. We developed a scenic and varied 120 mile route that suited passengers and drivers alike, with a gastro feast lunch at Washbourne Court in Lower Slaughter. Customers had the chance to drive at least six different classic cars from our Worcestershire fleet and the feedback was very good, with everyone ready to sign up for our next event.
Break for the Border
Our Break for the Border rally in July 2011 took in 200 miles of the greatest roads around the Welsh Borders. We headed to the region where all the car magazines and TV programmes go to get the best from their cars. A deliberately select group of 7 cars and 11 people made the journey, taking in Brecon, Builth Wells, Abergavenny and Ludlow. We're keeping quiet about the roads we used because their lack of use is what makes them so special. With feedback ranging from 'best day of my life' to 'when can we do it again?' we'll be taking up the mantle and re-running this dream drive in 2012.
