THE SHROPSHIRE SORTIE RALLY
On our rare days off at Great Escape we like to head towards Shropshire and the Welsh Borders and some of Britain's best driving roads. Roads that are so good that car magazines and TV programmes use them to put supercars through their paces.
So it made perfect sense to add a Shropshire rally to our 2012 car rallies events calendar. Starting at our Cotswolds base near Stratford Upon Avon in the Midlands, our Shropshire Sortie on 27th October promises a drive to remember. We've hand-picked our favourite roads across Shropshire and the Welsh Borders, a region that is refreshingly free of traffic and perfect for testing out a range of classics from our 70+ fleet.
Places on The Shropshire Sortie are very limited so we recommend booking in advance. The all-inclusive price gives you the chance to drive at least 5 classic cars over 120+ miles. The cars will include E Types and Aston Martins. Lunch, fuel and insurance are all included. Your Great Escape guides will follow along to ensure everything runs smoothly - and provide you with detailed route notes.
