The original Mini remains the benchmark for enjoyable small cars. Launched in 1959 and in continuous production for over 40 years, the Mini made millions mobile. The car was constantly improved throughout its life and the high performance Mini Cooper, created by motorsport legend John Cooper, has its own place in the motoring hall of fame.
The Great Escape classic Mini Cooper is the only one of its type available to hire in the UK. Available from our base in Oxford, close to London and the home counties and convenient for the Cotswolds and Wiltshire, this car is a real Mini experience. A 1993 car fitted with the 1275cc engine running on carburettors (rather than fuel injection) it has been sensitively upgraded and features a full length electric sunroof that gives the real feel of a convertible.
