JAGUAR E TYPE CONVERTIBLE IN THE COTSWOLDS
Our Jaguar E-Type convertible to hire in the Cotswolds is an original UK supplied Right Hand Drive (RHD) Series 3 V12 5.3 litre convertible with matching numbers. It features the desirable specification of original Old English White paintwork, wire wheels, manual gearbox and power steering. It is perfect for a day or weekend away - or as a self drive wedding hire car.
The Jaguar is a large 2 seater convertible. It has very good passenger and driver space - with access aided by a large 'cut out' section in the doors (perfect for big wedding dresses) - and is fitted with a stereo radio/cassette/CD player. Like all convertible E Types this one has limited luggage space - however, there is space behind the rear seats and the car is fitted with a luggage rack.

The Great Escape Cotswolds Jaguar E Type was manufactured in 1972, at the height of the fuel crisis, which probably explains why it wasn't registered until March 1973. With petrol prices at sky-high prices (sounds very familiar), a 12-cylinder supercar, even one as beautiful as the E Type, had fairly limited appeal. This Jaguar E Type spent its first 25 years in Buckinghamshire in the hands of two owners who maintained it fastidiously, including a major body restoration in the early 1980s. In the late 1980s it moved to Worcestershire with two further owners, including a Jaguar specialist, who also lavished more time and money on maintenance and restoration.
