Ford really has made some of the greatest classic cars of the last 50 years.  Whether it's Ford Capris battling London back streets, cardboard boxes and perms or a Ford Consul transporting a carload of be-quiffed rockers, Dagenham's output is inter-twined with Britain's social history. 

We have a choice of two of the greatest Ford coupes ever made - from over here and over there.  Our Ford Capri is the ultimate 280 Brooklands model and is for hire in Shropshire.  In the Peak District we have a superb 1960s Ford Mustang coupe for hire.

It's got to be The Professionals.  At Great Escape we grew up in the 1980s so we love all those cool and classic 70s and 80s icons.  The Ford Capri dominated our TV screens in the late 1970s and 1980s as the car of choice for Bodie and Doyle and filled our streets as 'the car you always promised yourself.' 

Today the Ford Capri is a rare car but, we think, a true classic. Few cars capture the spirit of those times like the Ford Capri.  'The car you always promised yourself' is now available to hire for weekdays and weekends.  It's a great way to celebrate a 30th 40th 50th 60th 70th birthday, wedding anniversary - or make your wedding really different.
