Great Escape Classic Car Hire has two Alfa Romeo Spider cars for hire. We have developed our Alfa Romeo Spider fleet because we love Alfa Romeo cars and our customers tell us they really like the Alfa Romeo Spider. It is rewarding and easy to drive - and just looks great.

Red Alfa Romeo Spider
The first Alfa Romeo Spider we acquired was our Alfa Romeo Spider Series 4 in metallic red. This was one of the two cars that we had when we launched Great Escape in 2006 and it remains on our fleet. It was built by Pininfarina in June 1992 and originally sold new in Germany before being imported to the UK. Which makes it one of the last original Spiders made before the model was phased out in 1993.
Our Alfa Romeo Spider is a low mileage car and we think it has the best colour combination available on an Alfa Romeo Spider – metallic burgundy paintwork, tan interior and black hood. We acquired it in 2005 from a fastidious previous owner whose attention to detail included remanufacturing and replacing every visible screw head to ensure that they matched. Since then it has covered several thousand kilometres, including a 3,000 km trip to the Dordogne in 2006.
We have made several subtle upgrades to the car, including changing the exhaust system to improve throttle response, fitting polyurethane suspension bushes to reduce roll and fitting an original Alfa Romeo radio cassette player.
Blue Alfa Romeo Spider
We bought the blue Alfa Spider in 2010 to add to our Suffolk fleet, after being pleased with the popularity and impressed by the reliabiity of our Cotswolds car. Originally we wanted another Series 4 car but we chose this car because of its superb condition and beautiful Medio Blue paintwork. The Series 3 cars are often overlooked by Spider afficionados but they combine the driver appeal of the earlier cars with the build quality and reliability of the later cars.
Our Alfa Romeo Spider for hire in Suffolk has very low mileage and has been fastidiously maintained with low ownersz for its age. It is one of the last Series 3 cars and quite rare in terms of its colour scheme and 1600cc engine (most Spiders have 2000cc engines). The car was comprehensively overhauled and improved about 5 years ago and is rust free. It features an immobiliser and a wind deflector. As a 1600cc Series 3 car it runs on carburettors and it has the distinctive Alfa Romeo exhaust rasp.
