We drove the Great Escape Classic Car Hire Alfa Spider 3,000 kms to the Dordogne in 2006. Apart from a small suspension problem caused by the rough local roads, it performed faultlessly.
We took the Eurotunnel across to Calais and then spent a couple of days meandering through France to our gite in the Dordogne, before spending the next two weeks touring the area. Here are a few images from the trip.
